“I have recently had the very fortunate introduction to red light therapy, which I am a firm believer in. After 20+ years of lower back lumber strain injuries due to a physical career, I had a very large and severe extrusion to my L5/S1 disc, along with 2 bulges to the L4 and L5. Being unable to walk or stand for a number of weeks, and on a maximum dose of a variety of painkillers, I used the red light diligently 3 times a day for 20mins each on the lower back. In approx 2 months the extrusion causing all the nerve pain had reabsorbed itself. This very pleasantly surprised not only myself, but the Orthopaedic Surgeon I was seeing, as surgery was looking very likely, and the physiotherapist whom I was seeing also. They were both very impressed with how quickly it had improved based on the severity of what it was.
